Okay so i've had my computer for about 2 weeks now and i have a problem with programs constantly freezing. Last night my computer froze during windows updates, I have no idea what the problem is and its a pretty frequent occurrence.

Have you tried contacting your reseller? In this case Xotic PC. Might be faulty RAM :)

By freezing, do you mean you get a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death)? In that case, it could and would most likely be a graphics card driver issue. If not, like the above poster said, it might be a RAM issue. In that case, try swapping out your RAM card(s) one at a time to see if it helps narrow down the problem..

Yeah with the same above its either faulty hard drive or ram, I've had a similar case you with my ssd but for some reason worked fine after reformatting. Perhaps bad sectors maybe

I have tried but its the weekend so not much luck

Not not a blue screen, but just a program will not close i can CTRL+ALT+DEL And try to close it that way, but it will not work either. The only way I can get it to close to reboot the machine completely. Will opening up my machine not void the warranty? And is there any programs that can test it i saw something called memtest86+ or something along those lines is that a valid program?

If it comes down to it I will i haven't installed to much stuff as of yet, but always want that more as a last resort.

No, it will not as long as you don't break any seals. It should be relatively easy to reseat the RAM cards one at a time. This should help you identify which card is the defective one, if any.

All programs wont close? Random programs wont close? A strange program that says "16789 threats found" wont close? Be specific.

Hi joshieboy2007, sorry to hear about the feezes. You can also give our 24/7 phone tech support a call which you'll find the number under our contact page.
Do you have an SSD? If so try a firmware update. Memtest86 is great to test you're RAM, i've used it many times and it does great.
One great thing about Sager is you can open up the computer all you'd like, just be careful as any damage cause isnt covered under warranty.

    Hi joshie,

I know this thread is old but did you manage to solve the freezing problem? I have just received my laptop last week and I am having the same freezing problems.
