I was looking into getting a Sager np9262 and was debating between the C2Q and C2D. The C2Q being a 2.4 GHz and the C2D a 3.0 GHz. Which delivers better performance with current applications?

Will quad have more support in the future? If so when will the big games/apps come in?

I also want to keep this computer for about 4 years with few upgrades so thinking of future uses is extremely important.

If anyone owns either I would be interested in what you have to say.
