Can anyone recommend me Nvida drivers that will not BSOD upon install for a NP9262 WIN7X64?
I've been pulling my hair out over this, but I tried a lot of the new drivers out on laptop2go and even tried the official ones off nvidia.com, but all lead to BSOD

Have you been using Driver Sweeper to fully clean out old drivers?

They work without problems. There is no problem with the drivers. The problem is with your windows or hardware.

I found out the problem. These new Realtek network drivers windows update installed was causing problems with my SLI on boot. I rolled them back and now any vid driver works.

must admit ive had 4 bsod since i loaded the latest official 197.16 drivers from nvidia.
    im getting these error messages:
    DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL
    VIDEO_TDR_ERROR

the safest ive found has to be 186.81
if you havnt already done so download Who Crashed which will give you the full dump readout.

Well my BSOD returned. Turns out the rollback only worked temporary. I am using the 197.16 sets also. The problems all seem to be related with SLI. If I disable a card, my notebook doesnt blue screen and works fine.

Your BSOD issues could be from un-swept drivers, or if using Windows 7, ticking the "Delete Driver Software" when uninstalling. I've learned the hard way that doing that is a really bad idea. Make sure you leave that unchecked!

Well I confirmed the BSOD on boot isn't caused by leftover driver files, Because the same BSOD appeared when I did fresh a format install with the new drivers. I installed an older set and everything is fine now. This problem seems to only affect people with 8800 cards on sli, as I found numerous references from other people with the same exact problem.

That's interesting. I haven't had any issues with 9800 GTX SLi after a clean install. Here's hoping your issues are resolved in a future release.

Strange. I had the SLI with 2 8800m gtx for some time with no problems.

You may want to try rebooting on battery and see if that stops the BSOD. On every 196 and 197 driver I get the BSOD on reboot with a single 9800m gtx.

I am currently using the official notebook 197.16 drivers and still have this issue also. Works great for games so I just plug back in the power after windows has loaded.

I tried using the battery method which works fine on boot, except when I get to the desktop and I plug my power cord back in I seem to get the BSOD eventually. Im running 195.62 sets right now and everything is working perfect.
