I was going to just buy a new pair of headphones to use with my 9370 hen it gets here. I use Razer Tiamat 7.1 with my desktop. Is there any options for 7.1 sound on the 9370? I looked for external 7.1 sound cards but didn't really find any.

There are quite a few options, but I think you may have been looking for something more along the lines of a mobile USB card, like the Xonar U3 (I'm guessing).

There are quite a few other options.: Google

Yeah more mobile wise. I found a few but they were ll single plugs I found USB wise. I need something that allows me to plug in all 5 or whatever jacks from the Tiamat 7.1 headphones.

Might not be able to use 7.1 with mic jack at the same time though (SUB/CEN sends out from mic jack) with its integrated sound chip, I don't own a P370EM but I believe the 4 jacks on the P370EM should be working in a similar way as the P150EM/P170EM even though the P370EM is using a different sound chip than the P150EM/P170EM. Which means each jack other than the stereo jack has 2 purposes, Stereo Out = Stereo Out, Mic In = Sub/cen Out, S/PDIF-Out = Side Speaker Out, Line In = Rear Speaker Out. If there's any differences it shouldn't be too far from P150EM/P170EM.

That's good news. I never use mic in gaming anyway. I will hold off till I get the laptop and try it. Thank you!

No problem, I was gonna get the Tiamat 7.1 but in some reviews I read that says it has white noise from its USB power in the background so I got Tritton PC150 (5.1 analog) hd instead. Is it true it has some kind of static noise in the background?

I think it is hit and miss and was related to initial release of the headphones. I noticed it when plugged into certain USB ports every now and then. I like them alot, so far the bet headphones I've owned. If the 7.1 doesn't work with the 9370 I might bypass the whole 7.1 thing on the notebook and get the Tiamat 2 headphones or the blackshark's.

I kinda wanted to try out the 7.1 headset too, may be after a while when I get bored with my current headset, at the moment I'm pleased with the Tritton PC150 hd, frequency ranged from 20Hz to 30000Hz is surprisingly good for a headset with discrete speakers, but I believe my ears can't hear that high but it feels like the extra vibration from the high frequency has added some fluid to the sound heard from these cans.
