    I messed the bios update.
after that there is blank screen on start up. cpu fan works and key board lights on. NO FLASHING OF LIGHTS

I tried resetting the bios by removing the CMOS battery beneath the keyboard- NO CHANGE
I tried to start up with fn+B with various fikes - NO CHANGE

    Is there any hope?

Sounds like you bricked it somehow. You might need to pay for it to be re-flashed at a place that does so.

I don't think any laptops that are not business-class have a secondary bios... assuming business-class have secondary BIOSes.

I contacted. Their reply was "they don't know how to do blind flash". I replied with another stronger message. Waiting for the final reply. I hope for a good end.

They probably don't know how to blind flash. You asked the incorrect question. You needed to ask "how can I un-brick my system".
