Short Story : I finally received my laptop after RMA and it's working great but there is only 2 things I find weird :

    1) It seem I only have one temperature sensor for GPU1 not GPU2, is that a sign that I miss one sensor or it's unplugged ? I may have bad memory but I thought I have two temps reading before RMA.
    2) I cant update my drivers from AMD site they all say driver up to date. Even after I uninstall the "AMD/Sager" driver the official or beta AMD don't detect the cards... Before RMA I could update the drivers without problems. Any advice on that would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Code 18 for point #2, I tried installing the standard AMD drivers not the mobility ... duh :) I have the mobility 13.11 beta up and running now...

If you can answer about the temp sensors I would appreciate :)

    Thanks

I believe you're suppose to get temps for both but I'm not 100% on that. Is your BIOS and EC firmware up to date? Also, what was the laptop RMAed for?

    Hi thanks for the reply.

I managed to display it in Afterburner with a little help from my friend Google. Weird thing is you have to disable crossfire first, start game then the 2nd temp sensor shows in afterburner.

I had to RMA the laptop for a deffective 8970M. It blowed away after a few days passed one month... Now it's seems all good

You can see if gpu-z can read the 2nd card temps without having to fiddle.
