I got this computer about a year or 2 ago and I'm a college student who uses my computer a lot in class. I have a problem because a lot of my classes don't have plug ins so my computer can stay on. Is there a way to extend battery life I've done the low performance and I get maybe a little over a hour batter life.

Apart from being conservative, no, not really much you can do. Dim the brightness, use a power saving power plan in Windows, etc.

If you dont need WiFi you can turn that off to gain a little time.

Turn off bluetooth as well, and if you have a backlight keyboard turn that off. Also, check to see what programs you have running in the background and try to minimize anything that could be causing the CPU to run more.
