Does Sager have recovery partitions, or is it just DVDs? Just curious, Toshiba has recovery partitions and as I reload every 4 months or so, it is very convenient. Thanks for any help with this.![]()

i ordered mine from kobalt in the uk a year ago and at the time there was an option for a backup partition using acronis (i think) but ive just checked sager and that option is not there so im not 100% if it comes as standard or not.

I don't think they do come with a recovery partition, but if you have an external hard drive, a recovery image is very easy to create, or a windows disk with the drivers for your notebook already slipstreamed.

It will depend on your vendor though I do not know of any who do so. Your best bet as stated above is to create your own recovery image

Thanks for the info. Is there any free programs to create restore disks that anyone could recommend? Thanks.
