I am thinking about getting a 5760 direct from Sagernotebooks.com but I cannot find anything regarding shipment to Canada or warranty. I was wondering if anyone from Canada has ordered from Sager and I am wondering what kind of experience they had. Thanks in advance.

Powernotebooks handles Sager and will ship to Canada through Nevada to save you on taxes, if that helps. (Although I don't see how it saves you on taxes . . .)

    *cough* Eurocom *cough*

(You can get a full equipped 5760 for 3 grands, taxes included). DO NOT take what they display on their website for granted. They are quite flexible on prices.

Tell Alen I sent you ;)

I am sorry but we do not ship to Canada, and if we did it would not save on GST or PST. :(

What you might be thinking of is that ONLY shipments to Nevada require us to collect sales tax in the USA. We do not collect sales tax for shipments to any other state in the USA. ;)

Nah don't worry, unfortunately, I think it's the way they work, and I officially told them that they scared web customers away with this.

He clearly told me that every canadians wanting a good deal were welcome ;) :p.

And StuffLuster, which BTW I didn't know when I bought mine, also bought a 570U divine and he got about the same price.

Boxers, you won't get banned - they rather make a sale at a reasonable price lol.

    Patrick,

Thanks for the heads up. I took a look at the website and customized an m570u almost fully maxed for around $4200 CDN. I'll send them an email but it seems like they would have to be very flexible to reach $3000 for a fully maxed 5670. I'll tell them you sent me and hope for the best.

My bad, BTW, for those wondering what I was thinking, I saw this message (Reply #6), which was talking about California (CA) right after I read a thread about Canada, and that thread incorrectly states that you ship through NV to avoid taxes.

    Belive me they will.

Here a blurp of the first email - still no bargainning/dealing started:

    Me:
    Eurocom sales rep response was:
Then you start dealing on options ;). So like I said, they will adjust their price.

    Edit:
The price will be around 3k. Look at my reply down there for my config that I got for 3120 shiping and taxes included:

They didn't made something special for me - just show you wanna buy from them instead of the competition and they'll help. You could end saving a lot in taxes (if outside On you'll only be charged GST / otherwise UPS will charge both taxes), currency conversion, shipping (Shipping Ontario to Qc was only 35$). In the end the price will be almost the same as with Sager/Hypersonic. But you'll save buying from Canada.
