This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     What are some good "tricks" to get discounts when ordering? I know calling in they'll sometimes throw in free stuff.

    #1 reason people do things they shouldn't is because they are told not to lol. That aside, start with the basics, student, military discounts. Other than that sager resellers don't really offer anything discount wise, you can ask for ram and a hdd not be included also.

    These guys sell at the lowest price they can to stay in business. That's the confidence you can take into your purchase. If you are student/military, take that discount if you can.
