It looks like a fair number of people go with the stock Sager wireless card. Has anybody had any issues with it? It looks like I will have to switch wireless cards since Bigfoot is on back order. Since I plan on upgrading eventually I'd prefer to spend as little as possible on a temporary card.

I haven't heard anything bad about it, but it can't use 3 antennas. If you don't want to wait for the Bigfoot card, I would recommend the Intel Ultimate 6300 since you'll still get to use all 3 antennas so you'll have much higher bandwidth and longer range (450 Mbps with 3 antennas vs 300 Mbps with 2 antennas).

If you are just looking to save money though, there will be nothing wrong with the stock card (and you can always upgrade later).

I posted in the owner's lounge already, but my MAC address is changing with every reboot on my NP9170 with the stock wireless card. It happens on both the factory-installed Windows 7 Home Premium and my self-installed copy on my Samsung 830 SSD. No idea what the problem could be, and I've tried reinstalling the drivers several times (drivers on Sager's site are the same as the ones on the drivers CD).

I alos contacted my reseller, but Sager's techs are off for the weekend, so if anybody has suggestions, they'd be much appreciated. Google doesn't return anything really helpful, as this problem seems to occur mainly on tablets and phones, and I doubt the stock card is one of those that allows you to specify your MAC address.
