Hi I just bought SAGER XENOM NP6100 last year sometime on November
    Here is the spec.

    Processor
    3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM Processor ( 6MB L3 Cache up to 3.1GHz)
    Memory
    16GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 2 X 8GB - with Core i7 Only ...
    Hard Drive
    750GB (w/ 8GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid (Serial-ATA II 300 - 32MB Cache) ...
    Optical Drive
    NONE
    Operating System
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Wireless Cards
    Built-in 802.11 Wireless B/G/N - Stock Wireless Card + Bluetooth ...
    Thermal Compound
    AC MX-2 Thermal Compound CPU+GPU

    GPU is NVIDIA GT650M 2BG

And recently I experienced my laptop shutdown by itself everytime I played latest game.
    Example
    SKYRIM/ STARWARS THE OLD REPUBLIC

1.Setting high/high-medium: after 3-5 min, sometimes 10 min. the laptop just shut down.
    2. Setting everything low: no problem, running well
    3. Switch to integrated Inter graphic, no problem, running well.

So as for now I just set everything on low, which I feel like I wasting money. I bought over USD1200 and I couldnt use this laptop fully function.

Im sure it's problem with my GPU... but I dont really experience overheat on my GPU.(even at high setting or medium)

Is it problem with my AC adaptor? it's 90W AC adaptor.
I search on this forum and I found with my spec I should get more than 100W AC adaptor.

    Please advise... thanks

Maybe fans are stuffed with dust bunnies? Check those. I know you don't think it's a heat problem but your symptoms sure point to that.

AC adapter could be part of the problem. Try to limit your FPS using nVidiaInspector to 60FPS and see if the problem persists.

It does sound like a thermal issue. If not dust bunnies maybe you need to redo the thermal compound. What are your temps before it shuts down? If you dont have it get HWMonitor so see those temps.

I think I didnt have problem with overheat.
I will try to limit the FPS using nVidiaInspector.

And how to re-do the thermal compound?

Ok, i switch my graphic option...
    1. Playing skyrim/mass effect/Xcom Enemy unknown/SWTOR..Using NVDIA GT650M after 3-4 min..shutdown by itself.

    2. Switch the graphic to Intel HD.. No problem at all.... Play 2-3 hrs.. No shut down..

Does it mean something wrong with my GPU?

Are you trying to play on the Nvidia card with your laptop UNPLUGGED? If so, that may be causing it.

Hm tried both.. Plugged, unplugged.. Same result.

Using intel graphic no problem at all. But as soon as i switch to nvidia.. My laptop shut down after 2-3 min.. Sometime 10 min..

I think it's a PSU problem. I had exactly the same problems with my MSI GX720 and GX740 in the past. Both laptops were running on 120W adapters. All the problems were gone after I bought a Targus 180W PSU.

Ok, then I will try to find a bigger capacity AC adapter.
120W is enough? or should I find bigger Wattage like 180W...

Yeah I just tested yesterday, lowering the gpu power, i can run the SWTOR more than 3 hrs... I guess i just get a 120w PS. My reseller in Indonesia sucks, refused to give me a 120w adapter because its already 1 year. Any suggestion what brand of adapter i can get?

Targus, Delta, Chicony, any recognizable brand will do the job. Just stay away from no-name Chinese junk.
