    Does Sager have a good customer service? I'm considering this one after looking at AW as a LOT of people say that AW has bad customer service.

    I'm currently looking to get the Sager N9750 and will be spending my next 2 years in Aussie, I wonder if they do repairs there?

    Also, is there a possibility that I might change the casing to make it look attractive or so? (Gonna have this laptop for 3 yrs, want the best for it XD)

    As with any company you'll find examples of outstanding, good, bad, and attrocious customer service. So I'll simply tell you that my experience has been in the outstanding category.

    I would strongly suggest going through a good reseller, as you will then have someone to go to bat for you in the event you have trouble getting resolution to any problems you may have. I am aware of 3 resellers that I would rate excellent in terms of customer service: Powernotebooks, PcTorque, and DiscountLaptops. I have read accounts of people who had trouble getting their problems solved contacting Sager directly getting resolution by contacting their reseller, and having them call Sager.

    I believe there is a reseller in Australia, you might look into them, however IIRC they're on the expensive side. If you want to spruce it up a bit, check with PcTorque.com I know they used to offer painting, and are in the process of making it available again. They did some very nice work on the paintjobs.

    I bought my Sager through Sager. I am currently living in Hawaii when I needed warranty work I had to kick in money for the shipping back and forth...I am sure it would be the same for you. Seems to be a lot of comments on the benifits of buying this brand through a reseller vice Sager.

    Forgot to mention: going through a reseller will mean you pay a lower price too. I've configured a lot of systems on the 3 sites I mentioned to check prices, and PcTorque has consistently been the least expensive.

    Oh okay, I will check these 3 websites.

    I have checked POWERPC though and it's actually not bad as they recommend this Sager NP9750 to me which I'm also quite interested in getting.

    This 'customer service' thingy~
    The 3 website's i've been to.
    They're all US-based right?

    Also, when they mean re-seller, does it mean that I get a 2nd hand instead of 1st?
    (Sorry, quite new at these)

    Also, what about the Aviator FX7's review or customer service?
    Are they good? Because I'm currently looking at their website ATM.
    Seems that it isn't so bad at all, but I need user's opinion in this~

    Also, among these 're-sellers' website;
    http://www.powernotebooks.com/
    http://www.pctorque.com/
    http://www.discountlaptops.com/

    I noticed that all they are selling is Sager.
    They don't sell any other brand?
    Which of these 3 companies as well are quite well known as having the best 'International Warranty' in Aussie/Singapore?

    If I want to spruce it up a bit, check with PcTorque.com?
    How do I access the option to do that?

    I am at the page where I am customizing the Sager9750-V notebook but I don't see any option to which I could do that. Could you show me the way? (Sorry for the trouble)

    You'll need to email or call them. Like I said, they're in the process of providing painting as an option. I dont think its selectable yet, and I dont know how long it'll be until it is. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

    I have no experience with POWERPC.
    Yes, they're all US based.
    No a reseller does not sell used laptops. Perhaps retailer would be a less confusing term.

    I have no experience with Hypersonic, but I have read accounts from people who have purchased from them. They seem like a good company.

    PcTorque only sells Sager, the other two sell other brands in addition to Sager.

    I'm sorry, but I have no idea which would have the best service to Australia. I'd call them all ask them how they'd propose to handle the situation if it should happen that you'd need to return your unit for warranty work.

    I can't seem to find the warranty-documents for PCtorque thus I can't really tell if they support other countries besides US.

    Also, does the other 2 sells other computers JUST as good as Sager? I wanted Sager as it is powerful despite it's heavy weight~

    Sager notebooks are renamed Clevo's - the NP-9750 is also known as the Clevo D900K. If you can find that, it's the same notebook.

    PCTorque would support the laptop if they arranged special shipping for you. I'd inquire with them about pricing.

    Been mailing them but they dont seem to reply -_-~
    Isn't there any online service that they can give?

    Actually I was thinking~
    WHY not buy DIRECTLY from Sager instead of having through resellers?
    Is it because they don't provide better warranty or maybe the price is more expensive?

    Check out my Sager Dealer Guide . . I put some reasons in there on why to order from a dealer vs. going through Sager.

    For Sager in-built camera, (For model NP9750), is it possible to have 1.3Mpixel in-built instead of the common 0.3 ones?

    Because PCtorque sent me mail stating that;

    My question;
    Does this notebook comes with an in-built speaker as well? Also, what is
    the resolution of the camera? Is it 1.3 Megapixel?

    Their answer; (By Luke McBride)
    Yes it has built in speakers; the 300 K USB 2.0 Bisoncam resolutions
    are 640x480.

    Does this mean that it's 0.3 Megapixel instead of 1.3 Megapixel?
    Weird though because the one sold on
    http://www.discountlaptops.com/ and
    http://www.powernotebooks.com/ are BOTH using 1.3 Megapixel~

    Why would PCTorque provide you with a 0.3 ones?
    640X480 = 0.3Megapixel

    Also, yeah the repaint hasn't been offered yet;

    My question;
    For your Sager N9750, is it possible to have the casing modified?
    Someone suggested to me that it is possible for PcTorque to provide paintings
    and stuff like that? This will be quite a useful option for me~

    Their answer; (By Luke McBride)
    We have contracts we are working on with a painting company but
    nothing is set up yet, and we do not have an ETA for starting this
    operation.

    So that means either the salesman doesn't know what he's doing or he's just plain wrong?

    Oh you know Luke? Lol~

    Alright, I've mailed him and it's almost been 38 hrs and I still have not gotten any reply yet -_-~

    Is it just me or is the response from PCTorque very bad?
    I would expect a reply within 24hrs frame at least~

    Or is it due to the fact that I sent the reply on friday and that they are not working on Saturday and Sunday? So that means I can only wait until Monday to get my reply?

    Sorry, I haven't been on in a few day. Looks like ChazMan's got you covered though.

    Luke IS very knowledgeable, and a nice guy to boot. And PcTorque is closed on weekends, although I've heard of people (rarely) getting a response on the weekend.

    Hmm strange though~
    If you 2 say that he's knowledgeable then at least bout 90% of what he say I assume is right~

    But the Webcam that he stated isn't 1.3Megapixel or maybe it's just the Segar that PCTorque sells :(

    And what's the advantage of ordering thru PCTorque as to order directly from Segar? Could anyone with experience guide me in this as this is my very first time~

    This is so strange.
    I have been sending mails after mails to PCTorque but received no reply.

    Why are they not repling me at all?
    It's monday already~

    I dont know what to say. This is strange. From all accounts Luke is really good about taking care of emails and such. Are you emailing "[email protected]"? If not, try that. Otherwise I dont know what to tell you.

    Hope I didn't lead you wrong.

    Good to hear you got through.

    Nice choice. I plan to get that model myself - once I save enough nickels.

    Be sure to give us a review once you get it.

    That's a true beast of a machine, incredible power. As Dr. Louis said, we'd love to hear your comments on it after you recieve it, and if you write a small review, I'll link it into my models guide. :)
