So what is a better gaming/multi-use laptop option? Feel free to toss in other comparable options too and explain your preferences (‘cause I need help deciding).

I filled in the “What should I buy FAQ” before on the "What Notebook should I buy?" forum but no feedback. You can see from the selection below with my personal pros/cons pretty much what I am after. Price point is < $1500, but might consider <$1600 if that extra $100 buys lot more. Mainly I want opinions about these systems and any other suggestions you might have for comparable systems.

    Sager NP5793 (Clevo M570RU-U/M571RU-U)

Pros: large high res screen, good GPU, Blu-Ray, higher end Intel wireless
Cons: short warranty (is more needed since Sager/Clevo is such high quality?), slower CPU, slower RAM, matte screen (not a big deal though)

For gaming, the Sager NP5793, because it has the best GPU - the 9800M GTS, unless, of course, by "gaming" you merely mean intensive sessions of minesweeper. :D

Of those, I'd personally go 5793 with the processor upgrade, which is still <$1600.

If you want a 15 inch, the Asus is the no brainer choice. That's definitely a good deal at $1350.
