Hi!
Recently I update the firmware of my 840 Pro (on my Clevo P150EM), but after that I can't update the SATA controllers.
For instance, if I install the last version of Intel RST or Chipset, the windows doesn't start (bluescreen) and I am compelled to do a system restore to fix this and start windows normally.
How can I fix this situation?
Regards,
John.

Are you experiencing problems with the SATA controller in the first place? If the driver you initially had before the blue screening occurred worked fine, then there could be an incompatibility with that firmware version - in which case it be better to stay with the previous driver. Chipset driver updates should always come before anything else, though, to be fair.
Where are you getting the drivers from? -
I downloaded both from Intel's site.
Maybe firmware incompatibility issue...

I remembered to unistall de sata controllers in safe mode , letting the default sata controllers being installed and after that try to install the latest.
And it works fine now!
Maybe the sata controllers had any kind of connection with the SSD firmware and after the firmware update it was broken or something like that... I don't know.
But for me this solution worked like a charm!
