    Hi Guys,

Have any of you had any experience with this laptop or model? It’s a UK reseller called Scan.

Any ideas what model of Clevo this is?

    Cheers
    James

Just seen on there website it’s actually a P775TM1-G model. Had to go to checkout to find out tho.

What’s the difference between the two?

TM supports 9th intel gen. - z370 motherboard. Also a bit better cooling afaik.

What’s the cooling like on these models with the desktop cpu? Do they run at full clocks?

Now what do you mean by full clocks? They will follow the intel spec on power and TDP.

Sorry, I meant thermal throttle. I know some laptops with powerful CPU’s get too hot and clock down due to heat.

The P775TM will throttle depending on the processor you choose. To stop it from throttling you need to apply liquid metal on the processor and change the fan profiles to be more aggressive.

A repaste almost always helps, not to imply anything against the cooling system on the P775TM. Binning can also play a role in temps.
