    Greetings,
posting because I have the same issue as described here. Flickering does change when I move my screen, so I'm assuming it's the same cause too, a loose cable in need of reseating. So I've got 2 questions:

    1) How would I go about reseating the cable?
    2) Would doing this affect my warranty in any way? I DO have a warranty, but I'd have to send this laptop out of the country, which took 2-3 months with my last laptop.

You'd have to remove the screen, which requires removing the LCD frame/front bezel. Whether or not it risks your warranty is a question for your seller. From there, you'd just be removing the cable and re-inserting it, and re securing it with tape.
