Laptop model: sager np8157/ Clevo p65_67HSHP

I had a crash that had forced me to reinstall windows because i couldn't recover anything. Shortly after, booting into discrete mode made the laptop screen turn staticky like an old tv.

    video link:

I can only use mshybrid mode to avoid the static but i also have much lower fps when in mshybrid mode and massive fps drops in games that shouldn't even be a problem for the laptop. Can anyone help?

could be a loose LCD display cable 30/40 pin. Have you tried booting from usb drive with Linux or any WinPE to rule out if its SW or Hw issue?

I tested it on a next display and it works while showing the static and it works on hybrid mode but when it's in discrete I get the static on the laptop monitor

I thought it might be the cable but it works in hybrid mode but not in discrete. I haven't tried the other stuff because I don't know how to.

Could be a graphics chip issue then.
