I bought my np8150 like a month ago and i see people talking about upgrading their screen to 95% NTSC Color Gamut which is better than the stock ( my current screen). Is it still possible to find this part separately and install it myself ?

    please link, thanks.

The part is not manufactured anymore. I don't know if Sager will sell you the part, but this is the same screen used in the Dell XPS 15 and people are having a really hard time tracking it down, because many display resellers ship you an inferior "compatible" screen when you try to order one from them.

    The model numbers are:
    AUO B156HW01 V4 (matte)
    AUO B156HW01 V7 (glossy)

That price isn't too bad if you consider that you could sell the stock screen.

Just be careful whomever you buy from as we have seen many customers order one and then get switched to a "comparable" model. :( Also make sure they cover shipping in the event you receive a DOA item or it has Dead Pixels.

You just have to be careful and make sure you are VERY CLEAR you want that exact model # and nothing else. We have had several people come to us and some report here on the forum that sometimes you can be substituted a "comparable" panel.

The two upgraded 15.6" screens with 95% Color Gamut are AUO B156HW01 V4 (Matte) & AUO B156HW01 V7 (Glossy).
