I am an owner of an MSI GT70, which came with a GTX780M, and have recently upgraded to the GTX 980M.
It was of course a Clevo GTX980M, that I obtained, and instead of mucking around with the modded drivers, I flashed the card with the MSI vBios. After a black screen and a system restore...it all just seemed to work upon the restart.
odd....but the significantly improved performance of my games told no lies....however, there were niggles, most important of which was issues with HDMI audio, so I decided to do a fresh Windows install, and now everytime I go to install the Nvidia drivers, I get a black screen. Unless I disable the Intel HD4600, and although I could easily live without the HD4600, even then the drivers don't work in that the control panel will not open, etc.
So, to cut a rather long preamble short. I now need to reflash my 8GB GTX 980M back to it's original bios and naturally, I never bothered to make a back-up of the original bios. Could any kind gentleman point me in a direction where I could procure a vanilla Clevo GTX 980M vBios?
Thanks.
