yeah, I read about that earlier. Pretty decent for the costs. I like the media buttons too. But I don't like anything else about the notebook. Not my style, and I've never been a fan of acer, but who now?
And dexgo can you please change your picture? It's freaken me out.

acers arent all bad, yeah they can be a little flimsy but mine served me well and has retained some second hand value

but what can I say, Nothing I have used notebook-wise so far comes even close to how sturdy current clevo's are.
not even toshiba, and they are sales-rep Proof! :)

just a question shouldn't this be on the acer forum if not why and what has this got to do with 9 series graphics apart from acer having them in new laptop?

Hmm i seem to have seen someone in the AW forums speculate something about 8800M ULTRA in their m17x...

But i guess the 9 series is a bigger jump in notebooks?

wouldnt be surprised if dual 9600's were available in the m17x :)

I have used my acer with ati x1400 for gaming for 2 years,
yes it underperforms on many games, but handled half life games, (up until episode 2 :) )
tf2 ran badly too, so that reminded me that my 2 years was up

only other games I tried and couldnt play were FEAR and Lost Planet (no loss there then :) )

I can't see me needing to upgrade this clevo too soon though. I mean Crysis aside (which I havent tried yet) everything runs maxed out. so maybe this one breaks the mould and I go 3 years...........but most likely I will get my 2 year tech itch :)
