I just read a post over on NBF.com from a guy who complained about some kind of gap between the two halves of the screen's lid. He's returning his 5720, despite everything else being great. Have you noticed this on your 5720?

Here's his post (it's poorly written, so it's a little hard to read):

i can see a little gap when i close and open lid.
i can even put fingernail into a gap and make fall apart each panel.
and if i press panel to stick together, i can here sound that "thic" which mean each panel got stick together.
but, its not perfect match..........i feel its ganna make problem later...
and it should not be easy to fall apart like that with fingernail.

Hm...I've got the 15.4" version of the 5720 and I really have no idea what he is talking about.

If he means there is a gap between the LCD panel and where it meets the base of the notebook...well, there's no gap that I can see.

I don't see any gaps when it's closed either...

Sounds to me like this owner is saying that the trim panel around the screen is separating from the back panel (the "cover" of the computer).

Ah I see now. In that case, I can barely manage to get my fingernail inbetween there - it's the same as on any other notebook, nothing to worry about...

Other owners of the 5720 at NBF stated that they don't have this problem and that owner is doing an in trasit swap as this is a defect of just his lappy.

Cool. I figured it was just his 5720.
