Seriously - I've never been this impatient for a UPS truck, ever!

Pretty sure I've got up off the couch to check about 50 different sounds that could have been the UPS truck pulling up out front. As much as I know it probably wont get here until 4 or 5 pm like normal - I still can't help but pray someone in the area is getting something due early in the day so I can get my delivery early! lol

Razer Orochi - check
Gaming headset - check
Coolermaster U3 - check
Battlefield 3 premium - check
Mythlogic Laptop - somewhere in the city running around on a big brown truck!

 

I say hooray to everything but the BattleField 3 Premium. Instead, buy ME3, it's the only EA game that EA provides free MP DLCs for. The Co-Op is awesome. ME3 needs more awesome PC players

 

I find that ice baths work well for keeping calm.

My girl had a discount code to use from our Best Buy credit card so the BF3 premium came at a good price. I also have MOH from that promo code fiasco the other day, also got sims for the girlfriend.

 

waiting is always the hard part. Guess I should try that ice bath the next time I'm in this situation.

 

What about Bath salts?

 

Bath salts I find have the opposite effect and end up scaring the UPS man away. I advise against bath salts. This is all speaking from personal experience by the way.

I'm so fricken happy right now I dont know what to do first! Got my drivers for my orochi installed right away. Working on firefox and chrome... then probably some BF3!!!

 

Congrats! Be sure to run something like 3dmark11 after you installed the drivers to make sure your system is working correctly.

or they ran out of 3610s without telling you. congrats. you've been excited about this one for a couple weeks now, and for good reason. what are your cpu core temps at idle? i'm curious to know if there's a 7-10C difference between cores. ( here's a good utility if you don't already use it.)

 

All temps are within 3-4 degrees. I'm downloading and installing right now, core temps are all around 41-44 degrees, min/max of 37/52 until I put a real load on it.
