Hello,
My question is:
I allready have 1 980m, does the second gtx980m need to has a slave vbios or it is just plug&play?
Thanks
-
Should be plug and play, just make sure the second card has the same vbios as the first card to be absolutely certain that there aren't any compatibility issues from mixing versions.

ok thanks

When you get your second one make sure its Clevo card too, other brands don't work.

All cards now use an identical bios, they phased out slave bios files on both the AMD and Nvidia front a while back.

If you use dedicated card than must be plug & play.

You can use GPU-Z to check the version, even if they are slightly different I would only flash if you run into issues,
