Hi everyone, I recently buy a sager np9150 with integrated graphic intel hd4000 and nvidia gtx 670 , 3g video ram, this is my first gaming laptop, this notebook is a beast on games, but have some problems setting this correctly to run in other programs that aren't games. My question is how do I correctly setup to make videocard works with this program because even when I configure to work with videocar on nvidia control panel, it show in hard work temperature on cpu is 70C -90C, and temperature on videocard 40C. When I go to screen properties it runs with graphics integrated and not with videocard . How do I setup videocard to have betters results in non game programs. What do I do wrong , because I want exploit on hard work my gpu.

    thanks in advance!!

You don't need the dedicated videocard in non-game programs, with very very few exceptions.
You're going to need to give more details regarding what applications you want to use the dedicated video card in, but for anything short of CAD modeling or GPGPU operations, you should use the integrated graphics. Most non-gaming applications run entirely off the CPU.

    sangemaru is spot on.
its auto switching and decides itself if it needs the dedicated card or not and im not sure you can over ride that even in nvidia control panel.

If you wanted to try it any way. Open Nvidia Control Panel (right click on any blank area of desktop then select it). In the let panel pick "Manage 3D settings" On the right under the "Program Settings" tab you click "Add" then navigate to the .exe of the program you want to add, then back in Nvidia Control panel select "High-Performance NVIDIA processor"

Remember that using the NVidia GPU more than absolutely necessary will hurt battery life, but then again, if you're constantly connected, power conservation is irrelevant. Glad you like the system!

You also have the global switches too if you want a quick set everything option.
