    Hi,

I have an NP9130 (purchased from Xotic) and for the last two weeks or so, I've been getting severe heating issues which also lead to terrible framerates. I'm running the GTX 670m with the most recent (320.49) drivers, and am unable to get more than 5 FPS at the highest settings in CS:GO (which is actually pretty light on the system). When playing more demanding games like GRID 2, I have to run on the absolute lowest settings, and even then, I can see temperatures hitting 85-90 degrees C on HWMonitor.

Steps I've already taken - cleaning out the laptop's interiors and the GPU and CPU fans. Installed a new SSD + HDD combo with a clean install of Windows 7.

I wonder if there's anything else I can do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

do a repaste and make sure ur heatsinks are screwed on tightly and sitting properly on the cpu / gpu core, vram chips and voltage regulators :)

Id have a look at both cpu and gpu temps, see if either or both are out of whack. A hot cpu can cause the throttle too.

If you do the repaste jaybee suggested, take a moment to look at the heat pipes as well to make sure there is no damage to them. A repaste and reseating the heat sinks [properly] should help.
