How long does it take XoticPC to ship Sager/Clevo computers normally?

It depends on where you are in the US and what shipping option you choose.

Shipping times vary depending on the model/gpu/screen you select. Which model and configuration are you looking at? On average, I would say that notebooks ship out in around 5-7 business days. We regularly ship out the P151HM1/P150HM in 4-5 business days. The P170HM is currently taking a couple extra days.

Also, the time it takes to deliver the notebook will vary depending on which reseller you choose. For instance, we are located in Las Vegas so for California customers, we can deliver notebooks in just one day via UPS Ground. :)

Heyo! I live in California! I'll go check where XoticPC ships out of.

Malibal, you seem to be taking a very nice and personalized approach to looking for customers, I hope you are successful in the future!

Yes in most cases 4-5 business days as a rule. They have shipped as fast as 3 days when things were a tad slower. :)

One more question, the Lotus P151HM1 (Clevo P151HM1) is the exact same as the Sager NP8130, with no visual deviations or components changed?

its the same, but it says malibal instead of sager and it uses a clevo bios instead of a sager one.

And, I'd recommend going with 2 day shipping if you're going with XoticPC. They ship it back to them to avoid sales tax (if this is still possible??) and then to you, so it'll be 4 days in transit with 2 day shipping, 10 days in transit with ground shipping.

Hi Cptn, yes our Lotus P151HM1 is the same notebook as the NP8130. The only visual difference is the branding. Our notebooks have an electroform MALIBAL nameplate on the lid.

Also, as I said - we can deliver notebooks to California in just one day via UPS Ground. :)

One more question (sound like a broken record) but XoticPC doesn't offer free shipping, correct? I know it seems like a stupid question to ask, but I'm just making sure.

Justin-my order is currently in production. When I placed the order 2 weeks ago, I asked if Xotic would match Malibal's free shipping. I was told you could, but that if I took the free shipping, I would have to give up the benefit of Xotic's 24 hr tech support. Is this correct? I thought this was a strange policy, but I obviously decided to forego the free shipping in favor of keeping your tech support.

Normally we were matching it on a case by case basis. Keep in mind some sellers offer Free Shipping as a standard promotion and some others offer 24/7 Phone Support. Xotic PC and PowerNotebooks are the only Sager/Clevo Sellers in NA that offer Lifetime 24/7 Telephone Support. Obviously we see a MUCH greater value in our 24/7 Phone Support versus many other sellers that offer email only support after hours. We invest in this support as it has a much greater value then $20 some for shipping and will provide better value to our customers for the life of their system. Staffing a 24/7 Support center around the clock in our view has a much greater value then Free Shipping.

Email into your sale rep or our sale department and we review your configuration and certainly you will not be disappointed. :) For back to school season we are honoring the Price Match on Free Shipping for the time being. :D :D

To throw another reseller into the mix...... Origin PC are offering free maximum overclocking and free shipping at the moment on their desktops and notebooks.

Do you work for them? All of your posts have been you pushing Origin PC and your username "eoinmfoley" seems unusually similar to the Origin PC laptop model "Eon" which are the Clevo based models.

^^1.) OCing takes so little skill to do, we can teach anyone to do it.

2.) Origin is FAR too expensive. Free shipping doesn't cover half of their upgrade costs ($150 to go from a GTX460 to GTX560, are you kidding me?)

LOL No. I was going to buy off them a few weeks ago but decided against it as their warranty didn't cover international shipping. IMO they look like a good company, relatively new, but not a bad word said about them yet, and the OP was looking for free shipping. I have recently decided to order from Kobalt instead as their warranty will cover collect and return from Ireland. I can't comment on Origin calling their notebooks after me though.....
