Hi,been after a 9262 but in the UK all the resellers seem to be charging about 2600 pounds for a basic 9800GTx sli setup which I can't really afford, but today Novatech are clearing there 9262 range for 1608 pounds including dual 8800 gtx sli,I know the 8800 is older but I would be saving 1000 pounds.is this a no brainer and should I just hit the buy button or is there something I'm missing, thanks for any replies, now sat waiting ready to buy,Rigs

I would say go for it. The 8800M GTX is only about 10-20% slower than the 9800M GTX in most cases.

Some users might suggest for you to wait for the GT280M, which appears to be priced far more reasonably than the 9800M GTX, however, I am not certain if the same case would apply to UK resellers.

    Good luck with picking.

If you can't afford the 9800M GTX, I don't see how you able to afford the GTX 280M either. So go with the 8800M GTX SLI.

Just a reminder, the screen resolution is the lower resolution WSXGA+, not the WUXGA. Go for it if you don't want the higher resolution screen.

yap. 2270 sounds about right for the basic model.

    Spec:

    WSXGA screen
    Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo
    Sli 8800m GTX
    2x160GB drive
    Dvd drive

Don't forget UK prices are substantially higher.

Well i ordered it and it came today, not as big as i expected, lovely build quality, well impressed, only chucked COD4 on it and its great, also instead of the 8800 gtx sli it came with 9800 gt sli.If it wasn't for this site i would never of heard of Clevo, and would of ended up with an XPS M1730,so very greatfull.I could of ordered the Alienware M17 which i belive is good, but my desk top is a 2year old Alienware and when it arrived the paintwork on the case was terrible and they did not want to know, anyway the Sager/CLevo seems great.I would have bought from Kobalt eventually but saving a grand by having 9800gt sli instead of the gtx's was to good an offer for my budget, will post some more thoughts when i've played with it a bit more,Thanks Rigs :D
