    Should I order with IC Diamond Thermal Compound?

    It 40 bucks to upgrade and if not where do I buy this from? Are these specific notebook thermal compound? Can you use a desktop thermal compound for these laptop or it has to be this single on thermal compound? I know that Desktop have many thermal compound and was wondering why Notebook is restricted to one?

    You can us IC Diamond on Desktops or Notebooks. It is just not widely sold. If anyone wants to purchase a tube I am sure many sellers would sell it. We purchase several hundred at a time. :)

    You can use any CPU Compound on it, IC Diamond is just one of the best.

    no idea how ic diamond got so popular with the clevo reseller community.

    if you know how to apply it, buy ur own tube and do it (its about 15dollars unless they feel like overcharging people now days). but if you are not confident in your abilities just let the resellers do it.
