Do you turn on turbo boost every time you game or when the game is intensive? Is turbo boost good or bad for the notebook? I am downloading a game as well as playing 3 games of league of legend. My GPU temperature is 43C and my CPU temp is 57c.
Thanks

How do you "turn on" Turboboost"? It is impossible to turn Turboboost on or off. Turboboost is always on and a fundamental part of the CPU with no bios control over turbo boost, multipliers or speed step (EIST).
The only way you can get anything close to this is if you force your processor state to very low on your power settings.
If you are gaming on power saving, all you are doing in conserving battery life. You wouldn't want to game on battery anyway because then the GPU downclocks to 25% of full speed. -

You can't "enable" turbo boost. There was a time when Intel processors only ran at a stock speed, where anything higher required an overclock. Turbo boost basically runs a controlled overclock of the CPU as long as it stays within thermal limits. You don't have to do anything to enable it, it just works when needed. Note though that the max turbo listed for each CPU applies to only one core. If you want to turbo all the cores, the actual frequency will be much less.
Should I turn on turbo boost?
