Alright guys give me good reasons as to why i should get the Sager NP9150 over the Alienware m17x. I will be buying either one from a reseller.

Price to begin with... If you have money to buy an Alienware m17x you probably can buy the Sager NP9150 for a lot less, or buy it with a lot more upgrades...

But if you are talking about the 17" notebook from AW shouldn't you be comparing it to the Sager 17" notebook (= NP9170)?

Matte screen with higher gamut and better viewing angles,
    Better portability,
    Cheaper,
    Not so gaudy,
You don't lose GPU switching, backlit keyboard, or any upgrade options,
    But especially the screen.

Also on the point of price. Keep in mind Alienware/Dell make 0 computer parts. The components in their computers are purchased from the parts manufacturer an assembled into a computer. To be fair this is the case with most brands. But the higher price you find there is just for the name, as the parts often times are identical to what you find in other brands.
