Is it possible to self-install one on a 9262? I looked at the accessories page on xoticpc and there isn;t one listed, leading me to belive I am screwed.

    Thx

You could always get a USB TV tuner, many of them do perform quite well. Hauppage tends to be the best IMHO.

Whatever you do, don't get one from Pinnacle - there's a host of compatibility issues and their tech support knows only to tell you 2 things: 1. To reinstall, install and reinstall over and over and 2. They will blame YOU. They take zero ownership of their products and are very good and ignoring repeated attempts to make good on their empty pledges. Pinnacle Hybrid stick is only good at one thing: stirring crap

yea it is very easy and worth since it's internal (you don't have to worry abou it) it unless you need to do HD capturing.

just pop up the keyboard and 2 screws later the tv tuner slot is on the left side.

Wait, lol. What does a tv tuner do? Maybe Im confused on it's function. What I want to do is display stuff onto my tv from my laptop. Not record from it.

So I can view it on a standard 480 TV (I think 480 anyway)?

P.S. I may be the only one here who doesn't have an hd tv. Dont judge me, lol

you can send a video feed through the tv tuner to any any tv that has an s-video input. you can send HD video feed to an HDTV through the dvi out or hdmi with a dvi to hdmi adapter.

Svideo will work just fine. go a bit further and purchase an svideo/headphones to RCA jack (they sell them online, I bought a few, just can't remember the site) and you'll have audio and video for your laptop to your TV.'

That tuner card is supposed to be for TV to laptop, if you want to record shows.

The TV tuner is to hook to an antenna to receive off-air shows.

You do not need the TV tuner to play video from your laptop to your TV. Just send video out HDMI, DVI, or for an older TV, SVideo.

And eh, 'don't judge you'? With GTA, and that av? Too late...
