I joined this this page years ago for advice on buying the HP ZD8000 and in fact I received poor info because I bought it with the x600 gpu which sucks by today's standards, however I know that NZBR has advanced over the ages and I encourage users to be involved in your fellow NB purchasers decisions !!!!!!!

Dude, this is the Clevo and Sager forum. I don`t think you`ll get advice into buying an HP here.
So what is the point of this topic?

The point is years ago I did not know to look at the Clevo section and funny thing... I could have bought an np5790 and eventually upgraded it to today's standards... At the moment I feel that Clevo threads need to be in everyones mailbox!!!!

When this web sight first went online, it was a HP ZV 6000 Sight.

I can't remember the ULR it was back then, but thats when i first joined this sight.

It has grown to what it is today from that humble start.

Thats what he is speaking of.

Dude, 2 years ago I bought an HP nx9420. Back then for 900 $ it was the best deal : 17 inc screen, 3 hours of battery life, 80 gigs hdd,1 gb ddr2 ram, ati x1600 256mb ddr2 ,dual core 1.83 cpu...
Even though I knew about this site,it was only after 1 year later decided to drop 2.5k$ on a system that I joined the forums.
Clevo systems are for hardcore gaming. It`s not for everyone...

    "Re: Show Some Spirit!!!!"

Who's got the energy anymore? It's still the Cheney Administration, the dollar's dropping like a rock, the national debt is now $30,000 for every man woman and child, and games like Crysis and Call of Duty are popular.

It's the end of the world, man!!!

I have an HP omnibook lying somewhere, still functional, with Win95,german edition on it.
I wish my clevo will last at least as much as that omnibook...
