Ok lets show off your rigs. Had my 5793 for about a month now and i dont know how i got along without it. I haven put it down since i got it.

 

I am surprised that we have not made this kind of thread yet in this sub-forum.

well its the head, but i like how it looks like it has been drawn with many lines id like it if the body was like if as well i would like the body to be of someone with a long coat, baggy jeans and trainers as well as a Samurai sword in each hand in the left corner and have some japanesse text that looks like it has been cut into the laptop with the same text in english underneath i would like it so that its black and white.

i would also like the same head that is used on the front of the laptop to be placed on the inside, where the keyboard is.
is it possible to paint the touchpad?

very nice laptop... mm sager is so cool cant wait till they release a laptop with a battery life of 5-6 hours..

really dont wana go with the failing m15x just for batterylife and the sagers do look nicer esp with bright trim like orange.

That is a very wicked lid and custom paint...Man, I can`t justigy to myself doing that to a laptop,but I swear that I would definitely do it, were it just for me wanting it and not judging rationally

i think some might be but the one the OP has looks like a full paint job so it wont be, if it was just a skin then yeah i think it would be.

 

i wonder if you can custom paint it , then apply a plastic thing like Gophn once sugested to protect not just the screen , but the whole laptop case...that`s be good for the lid and painted parts...

 

there are many modders in this forums that did their own paint jobs.

it just takes some patience and skill.

 

I got the skin from decalgirl.com It wasnt that expensive and it was at my door in less then a week with normal shipping. To place the skin i had to cut a little off (about 1/2 inch i think). It does not leave any residue when you take it off.

Yes its a skin! I wish it was a paint job, but i went with the skin in case i want to change my mind, plus with the skin when i go over to the big sand box with my computer if the skin gets damaged i can just get a new one. I had a paint job on my first laptop, but after a year in korea the paint looked like crap ( i took my laptop every where i went, and it never seemed to not get bumped or scratched)

 

why would you take a laptop to Korea? are you a member of an army?

because I am embarrassed that I dont have a smokin paint job/ decal

although decalgirl might be the place to go

i looked at decalgirl and that got any decent designs.

 

well I was hoping I could design my own artwork, basically Roger the alien from american dad and have a Rogerware logo underneath
would be rather funny
however maybe I should go for something more striking that cartoon characters.

There are a couple of sites that will allow you to customize your own skin. (Upload a pic and volia its done) The links are in the customizing section of the forums. I looked at doing that but could never make up my mind on which one to get. Hope this helps out some.

how much was your laptop form Novatech, what do you think about the computer and he service?

 

Looks good but you can tell it's a skin easily as you can see the edges on the sides....I been looking for a skin that will just cover the brushed alloy panel.
