    Silver Sager NP5792

    I was browsing Sager's website and saw that the product page for the NP5792 says it comes in the silver as well as the orange. I had been under the impression that Sager wasn't going to offer the silver, so sent them an email suggesting they correct the page. To my surprise, they responded with:
    "we will have Sliver/White color in next week sometimes, Please check our website for this color option on the purchase page!"
    I had resigned myself to the orange (and in fact my orange NP5792/3 just shipped today), but for those of you who were looking for the silver option from Sager it looks like you may finally get it if you can hold out just a little longer.

    Colour is an extremely subjective evaluation. There are quite a few posters who've commented that in-person the orange trim doesn't look as gaudy as it does in some of the pix, and that it actually goes quite well with the understated appearance of the whole kit. :)

    Wow, that's great. I held off on my Eurocom order because of dead pixel issues. So if Sager is going to get it I wonder if the resellers will carry it as well.

    Color is indeed subjective...which is why it's great that Sager has finally decided to give their customers the choice of which color suits their taste.

    I would assume Sager resellers such as Xotic and PowerNotebooks will be offering the silver for sale as soon as it's available from Sager. Given how well they cover these boards it's pretty likely one of them will be the first to let us know when that happens.

    I'm going to send them an e-mail and see if I get the same response.

    The first time inquired about this was about 4-5 months ago. Brian said they did not plan to carry it. JMac, was it Brian that told you they would be carrying it?
