I was wondering if i have to buy the adapters to connect them in the bay that hold two hdd. Does the one that is being used by currently install laptop will do the work for the new hdd i will buy. My laptop only comes with one that i order. Advice. Please.

you do not need to buy any extra adapters or components to install more HDDs

Even a third laptop? I noticed when I ordered mine there was a $5 option for extra harddrive brace or something to that effect.

depends on models. But indeed you could need the little bracket plate to hold it inside. Ask Justin @ xotic to be sure. Those are around 20$.

In the 570U, an hoolder plate is required because IIRC the connector is perpendicular to the mobo and not parallel to it. So for both the internal HDD and the expansion bay HDD you need specific brackets.
