Does anyone else have this problem with their laptop. Sometimes when I close the lid, the screen would turn off, but everything else doesn't shut off. When I reopen the lid, the screen stays off and pressing any keys doesn't make the screen turn back on. I have to press the power button to reset the laptop.

Anyone know what is causing it?

What do you have your "When I close the lid" setting set to?
Also try turning off hybrid sleep, or on if its set to off currently.

I have it set to "sleep"

Where do you turn on/off hybrid sleep? I don't see it in the options.

Go to Power Options > Change plan settings > Change Advanced power settings > Sleep > Allow Hybrid sleep

Right now it's on off. What does turning it on do?

Could this be causing the problem? I have "when I close lid" option set to sleep, but in the power plans (balance, performance, saver), I have "put computer to sleep" set to never.

Also my problem does not occur every time I close the lid. Only sometimes.

Change some settings around and see if it fixes it. It could be a trial and error thing to see what works.
