It comes with a bunch of tips. How do you figure out which one to use?
One that fits might still be wrong.

what makes this anymore portable than your stock brick? what are the dimensions of yours? the length of my 9150's 180w brick is 6.5" x 3.25" x 1.5" vs. this thing's 10.5" x 8.2" x 3.1" (even though that 8.2" width measure seems to be error)...

i happened to notice one of the reviews (with 17 similar ones):

"There is, in fact, no tip compatibility guide anywhere on the Kensington site or even a list of models on the pages that sell SmartTips."

It should be easy to match to your existing power brick plug. Otherwise, just see which one fits best. From a past laptop I've had, I know it can work with a different tip (so long as it's not drastically different). The only concerns are power output as far as I know.
