I'm so sick of bringing the original NP8660 adapter to university almost every day. It's so big!!!

Are there anywhere i can get a smaller one?

I think he means the power adapter.

If so, then.... NO, you cannot use another power adapter.

A power adapter for high-end notebooks are bigger than average since the powerful components in the notebook will require more power.

Do you want the notebook to explode or something?

Maybe one or two additional battery could solve the problem :p

Personally, I don't feel like its THAT big. I mean, of course its bigger than those mini-powerbricks (now that I got used to mine) but it doesn't take so much place, except if your backpack is full. Also, even if its heavier than others, the laptop itself is already heavier so it doesn't make a big difference.

You could buy another powerbrick and leave it in your locker or at school :)
