    Sorry or the noob question, but I'm spec'ing a Clevo W860CU from rjtech and I'm not sure what the difference between the smart vs the "extra" smart li-polymer battery. What constitutes the $120 difference between the two?

    Believing that a battery is extra smart makes you extra stupid.

    That option is for if you want to purchase a second battery for your notebook. RJTech calls their batteries smart li-po because they are just that; self-protecting lithium based battery packs.
