    I think he meant current EM 7970M owners can sell it to HM users. HM doesn't have the Enduro problems because it can be turned off.

    I had an order for a sager 9150 with AMD 7970m being processed but I have now emailed to cancel the order. I am just going to save a little bit more money and opt for the 680m. Thanks so much for this thread.

    All I had to do to know which card to buy after learning of this problem was google "which is better in driver support amd or nvidia". Nvidia stopped supporting my Alienware laptop pretty soon after it came out. (My laptop is included in the first bulletpoint of the section that states what devices the verde drivers don't support.) If despite this it still beat AMD universally when I googled it I knew which one I'd have to buy.
