Exactly What It Says On The Tin.

It's been 2 years since I picked up my darling NP8660, and it seems to be about time I wiped it clean. It's been slowing down a fair bit, and now I can't even so much as update my video card drivers without crashing the whole thing.

So, question is - what am I going to need to put on it? Obviously I'll need to install Windows, as well as GPU drivers, but what else? Touchpad drivers? Fingerprint reader drivers?

Did it not come with a driver disc ? im not sure what drivers windows would install by itself but at a guess I would say yes to installing most drivers.

Chipset, Graphic card, sound, webcam ? touchpad ....

If you wifi works after install, running windows update may install most system drivers you would require.

Go to the clevo website - all the drivers you require should be listed and available for download. Download them and burn them to disc before your wipe.

The 2 key drivers you'll always need are video driver and internet/wifi/modem driver. With those 2 you can grab all the rest, well vid driver is more of a conveniance.
