    Yo!

Getting my Clevo tomorrow. Im what's the first thing I should do to make it updated etc.

    Like upgrading bios?
    Getting unofficial/modded drivers?
Modding anything inside the laptop making it cooler?

Know I've read somewhere about people modding with a bit. Cant remember exactly tough.

    Thanks

    Linus

Don't really need to do anything. Only thing I will advise is getting a notebook cooler.

Oh.... one more thing, wait for AMD to release the new video driver. Currently, stock driver is the best.

if you are getting it with the operating system already loaded then dont update anything as it should already be done for you and working out of the box.

next get some monitoring software and benchmark software which can all be found in my signature below

    and most importantly enjoy :)

You could get the latest driver from AMD.

Some mod ideas would be the foil tape mod (should be somewhere here on the forum) for cooling.

And if you like bios mods, speak to prema. Or flash the P170EM bios (beware this could result in needing to reactivate windows and install drivers again).

Just be careful, worst feeling ever is when you brick a brand new system.

If you bought the laptop with an OS, you won't need to update any of the drivers as they will be up to date when you get it.

You definitely don't need a notebook cooler, not at all. And the latest drivers from AMD should be fine, but correct, there is supposed to be a hotfix released this week, so hopefully AMD will actually do it next week...
