So... if the D901C is 8800m compatible, is the M570RU compatible too?

Because i wont wait another month before buying a laptop... and wait for the shipping and wait for good vista64 driver... errr... so i think ill just get a 7950 and wait 8-10month to get a 8800 or maybe a 8900 :)

So any news concerning the compatibility?

    Thanks

Keep waiting... if it has the MXM type 3 there is a good chance it will work that is the early minimum spec that I have heard that sounded legit. Although I caught something in another forum that said it would be MXM II compatibale but I didn't have a chance to read it and didn't put a lot of faith in it anyway.

I am not sure, if you poke around on nvidia site they have they specs listed there. I had the link to the page but can't find it right now. If you look around in the other thread for the 8800 it is there.

If you are going to wait until you get a 100% confirmation, you're going to be waiting until you could buy the laptop with the 8800. All you are going to get until then are best guesses.

Very True, I just with the best I could get that way if I can't upgrade I still have something I can live with.
