Better wait for P651RE/RA refresh with pascal and maybe thunderbolt linked with i7 6700K OCed to 4ghz.

The P750 is smaller, but if you are really after portability + power, a P650RG or P670RG might be more up your ally. I'm not sure about the eGPU compatibility (that is, assuming you're referring to the Razer Core), but with a 980M, I'm not sure if you'd really need an external solution.

If you do go with a 750DM-G, it does have an upgradable MXM graphics card in it, so there might be a future possibility to upgrade to new graphics cards that come out in the future. So that might be another way to not have to use an eGPU as well.

I would hold tight for a little bit if you can, when you already have a powerful system investing now is not the best time.

This is all I needed to hear. The wait for mobile pascal is killing me. I need some new tech in my life very soon and hopefully August is that golden month.

it wont be so dramatic, since its one of the very few machines that will be upgradeable to non standard form factor mxm gpus no matter what TDP or format they have ;)

Absolutely, models with more upgradable parts, especially MXM, will hold value for longer. You can get more life out of them, people enjoy tinkering and upgrading them, so there is still a market for them even after a couple years it seems.
