heh yea eurocom is very reputable, at least Iv never heard anything go wrong with them. The laptop in the recent xoticpc review shows its max at 93 celsius under full load which is very good. Normal gaming temps I would imagine would stay below 78 celsius. Here is the video review, its the same as the racer except the GPU is nvidias 485m.

Umm...actually, Eurocom has a pretty downward reputation in this forum and some of their sales and conduct have been sources of ignorant practices.

I'll let the others speak for themselves. -
While I agree with Lamp, Toms hardware just posted an article of the x7200 with cf 6970's and did their review with benching in it. So, It could be possible that Eddie really is going to get that laptop, lol.

Eurocom was the company that provided the laptop for review by Tom's Hardware, btw...
Edit: Meant to edit the last post I made... fail. -
Some of Eurocom's sales practices on this forum are pretty aggressive, but the company has been around for a long time, so they have to be at least somewhat reputable.
It might take a while for them to get the laptop to you if you ordered one with a 6970, but I'm sure it will be delivered eventually.
Actually are you sure you ordered one? It doesn't seem to be listed as a product on their page. I know they offered an area that would let you pre-configue a Racer, but I wasn't aware you could actually place an order from that page. -
Hmm, I would make sure that the 6970m they sent out isn't actually an engineering sample........
The 6970m eurocom set to notebookcheck were engineering samples. -
I would wait with it now cause the sandy bridge chipset thing, there recalling them at the moment cause of there fail rate if you havent seen lol...

As far as I know, the Racer isn't for sale by Eurocom yet.
I determined and posted the link to what will be their sale page once it's officially available, but I don't think they've actually released it for sale yet.
Some question about Eurocom P150HM Racer
