Sorry, another noob question lol: What do these 3D Mark Vantage scores mean?

I ran the test on my 580M with SLI on and off.

    With SLI on:
    3DMark Score
    25336 3DMarks

    With SLI Off:
    3DMark Score
    15434 3DMarks

At Notebook Check SLI for the 580M says 24041. With a single GPU it says 13295.7.

Should I be happy? lol Malibal support said that I should expect a 40% increase between SLI on and off. Mine was 60%. That is a big difference from the 40%. My initial reaction is great, I beat their expectation. Is that accurate? lol..sorry, just trying to get opinions.

The new 3D Mark takes full advantage of SLi and Crossfire in most situations. The 40% is in actual games--where SLI and Crossfire may not be fully utilized due to drivers, game engines, etc.

Yep, looks like you're scoring well above the averages. SLI has come a long way from where it was a few years ago. SLI is getting closer to a true doubling of performance in some cases (still limited by game support though). Try running a few games with and without SLI at the same settings/resolutions and you'll be able to see the performance difference.

Enjoy the machine (Beats the pants off the single 485m in my personal machine :D)
