I have a plantronics gamecom pro 1 usb headset that gets incoming sound perfectly, but outgoing sound ie when i talk to people on TS (recording, i guess) is choppy and bad.

I found some information here http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=70211

about a fix involving a vista patch here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933433/

    .....

This hotfix requires you email microsoft tho, i was wondering if anyone has the installer already for the 64bit patch of 933433.... This way i dont have to wait for MS to get back to me.

Also if anyone else has any more info on this issue lemme know.

Hi Garandhero. I've been searching for a link for this Hotfix but have been unable to find any that lead to a direct download. You might as well go through MS to get it and just keep looking for a link in the mean time. But this Hotfix sounds like exactly what you need. Good luck.

There's also a Microsoft rollup patch for Vista USB that includes KB933433 along with dozen more USB patches as well. Check out:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941600/

It's available to download directly from that link. I assume it's part of Vista SP1 as well, but I haven't checked. It doesn't appear to be part of the normal Windows Update stuff at this point.
