Just go a call my SSD is delayed![]()
Since they gave me a rebate for my troubles I though I'd get two and put them in RAID, so I was wondering has anyone tried an SSD in raid on a 9262?

I think you`ll be the first one, since they are too expensive for the average user and not too justified.
What sizes are we talking, 2 32Gb or 2 64? -
DAM, congrats on the raid ssd, but sorry on the delay. Will be one sick beast.
-
Well I had planned a single 64G, I'm now thinking getting two 32s, with RAID0 it should amount to about a single 60G "disk" (that's in addition to my data HD of course)

(sorry that first post is a bit missleading) -
Just PM'd Swifnc, he's one something like that with CF cards

on the subject of Raid, having a quick peek under the cover of my M570RU-U (extreme edition) machine, I noted there would be space for two drives if they were pretty much crammed together (so ssd would be the safer bet)
one thing i didnt delve into however was whether there were more than one sata, connectors on the mainboard
and also would need to unlock some (or add some) raid code in that there bios.
any ideas anyone? -
The RU does not have RAID controllers,so it`s pointless to have more than 1 drive...
I`m hoping the new M570TU might have it... -

now it might not be showing raid controllers, but I reckon there is one on the southbridge, but its disabled in the bios. Just a thought, i know that companies use the same chipsets across many boards
even desktop boards have the features sometimes even enabled in bios, but they just dont solder on the ports/or pinouts.
it would be sweet to see a 9262 bios modified to work on a 5793,
its getting into extreme modding I know but, I get itchy fingers
