    I've been drooling over the D900C but before I put down the money to purchase one I have a few questions. I was under the impression that they were relatively common among manufacturers but I may be sorely mistaken, I am looking for something like this http://www.newertech.com/products/charger_cond.php which chargers batteries outside the notebook but for the D900C. Any ideas? I'm also looking for a backpack that it will fit in well (the dimensions seem too big for most laptop backpacks such as the ones from Targus). Thank you for any help =\

    sorry, Clevo does not use such kind of batteries.... especially for the high-end notebooks.

    The Clevo notebooks are unlike most notebooks in that they draw a massive amount of power, which a stand alone would not be practical since the battery acts more like a UPS than a battery.

    I'm using the Targus XL backpack with mine. It fits very well and is protected by the padding.

    I haven't seen any standalone battery chargers for the D901C, they may exist but...........I honestly doubt it. :(

    I'm a bit disappointed and after wild thoughts of modifying Newertech's macbook battery charger to work with the d900c, I think a safer solution may be what I need, can anyone recommend an external battery? I know that it won't help much but I'm going to need just a little bit more power than the primary is going to give me.

    Why not buy a 2nd battery? 40min + 40min's = 1 hour and 20 min

    or 3? etc? Just a thought. or....a car adapter. The one I have is only rated to 150W and doesn't work with the brick for the D901C.

    @Wu Jen
    Buying a second battery was the idea, the issue I have with that I can't charge both at the same time (one outside) oh well, might as well lock this thread unless someone has a constructive idea.
